Despite Mendham’s small-town charm, there is much to do in this quaint country district. The annual Fall Festival brings all the farm fun to Mendham residents in the form of hayrides, a corn maze, outdoor games, and delicious donuts and cider. The newly established Mendham Food Truck & Music Festival has also brought new faces into town for a fun-filled day of great music, food, and beer.

 

For outdoor lovers, Jockey Hollow Park is sure to be a firm favorite. With miles of beautiful forest walks, onsite horseback rides, and tranquil picnic grounds with views over the rolling green hills. Another excellent way to spend the day outside is by visiting Backer Farm. Established in 1927, Backer Farm is the modern host of a small batch brewing project, seasonal farm experiences for kids, and a year-round farm stall offering only the best of local fresh produce.
